The O-Shot® (The Orgasm Shot®) Glastonbury

Feel Like a Woman Again

It’s a common joke that women enjoy sex less and less as they age, but where does this come from? The truth of the matter is that many women of all ages suffer from a wide variety of sexual problems, and until recently, the only solutions offered by modern medicine involved hormone therapy or hiring a therapist. With the O-Shot in Glastonbury, we simply use a patient’s own blood to directly treat many of the physical causes behind common female sexual issues. No, it’s not all just in your head, and we can help kick-start your libido again with a simple injection!

Why Women Suffer Even AFTER Seeing the Gynecologist

Research shows that only about 14% of women EVER talk to ANY of their physicians about sex. With around 4 in 10 suffering from a sexual disorder, why do only about 1 in 10 ever talk to their physician about sex?

According to Practice Bulletin in Obstetrics and Gynecology (April 2011), the reason may be that (with the exception of short-term hormone replacement) research shows that few proven treatment options exist. Both physician and patient would be discouraged by discussing a problem for which there is no proven solution – so the doctor just doesn't ask. The only treatments offered are usually vaginal estrogen, topical testosterone, or psychotherapy. And, even with hormone therapies, the results are usually described as short-term.

No wonder only 14% of women ever discuss sexual problems with their physician – if the woman is already on hormones (or pre-menopausal), the only known solution, per the official recommendation of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, appears to be psycho-social therapy!

What is the O-Shot® and How Does it Work?

The O-Shot® harnesses the healing power of your blood to stimulate a natural repair of the tissues surrounding the clitoris and the roof of the vagina. Your blood contains red cells, white cells, and platelets. Platelets are very rich in growth factors and healing proteins. By extracting the platelets and concentrating them, we can inject them precisely into the right areas to heal the body and address the problems listed above - naturally!

How is the O-Shot® Performed?

First, a special numbing cream is applied to the region around the clitoris and the target area in the vagina. While the numbing cream is taking effect, we draw some blood, just like having a blood test. While you wait, the blood is processed in our on-site lab to extract and concentrate the platelets, creating PRP. We then use a very precise injection method to deliver the PRP exactly to the right areas. The entire procedure is performed in the office, takes only a few minutes, and is painless!
